VEHICLE / MOTORBIKE TO AUSTRALIA PORT

Please be informed that commodity vehicle / motorbike to Australia port must require import permit approved by DOTAR. Consignee must apply & get approval from DOTAR before the shipment packing to avoid any storage charges incur due to non availability of import permit which will cause delay in clearance.

BANDAR ABAS PORT – CHANGE OF NAME

With immediate effect that Bandar Abbas Port has been renamed as “SHAHID RAJAEE PORT SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE/PERSIAN GULF-BANDAR ABBAS. Any shipment to Bandar Abbas must show at port of discharge on the bills of lading to be shown as above. His is mandatory to avoid ant fines/penalties incur.

EBS INCREASE TO EAST MALAYSIA & BRUNEI

We have increased EBS to East Malaysia & Brunei with effective from 15 June 2008, sailing to RM47.00 per cbm or r.ton. Kindly contact our customer service dept for further information or clarification.

WEIGHT LIMITATION TO JAPANESE PORTS

Effective of 1st April 2008, Road Transportation Law Container Weight in Japan has been altered as follow:-

Maximum Loading Capacity for 20′ is 20,000 Kgs including tare & 40’ is 24,000 kgs including tare.

DEPOT GATE CHARGE (DGC)

Effective 1st August 2008, The “Malaysian Container Depot Association” (MDCA) has announced that they will collect a “Depot gate Charge” of RM5.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Five Only) payable by all merchants for each and every container pick-up or drop off at the empty container depots. This depot gate Charge is payable by the haulier on behalf of the merchants as the party representing the merchant at the interchange point of empty container pick up or drop off at the depot.
